Inspired by the Kererū, New Zealand’s iconic native pigeon. The Kererū is a large bird with iridescent green and bronze feathers on its head and a smart white vest. The noisy beat of its wings is a distinctive sound in our forests. The Kererū is crucial to the survival of our native forests as it is the only remaining species able to disperse the large seeds of our huge forest trees.
The shade is silk screen printed with a black silhouette image of the Kererū.
The table lamp height is 33 cm and diameter is 14.5 cm. Max globe 60 watt.
The lamp base is a short-brushed aluminium base; it is 14 cm across 3 cm deep. It has a standard NZ plug with an inline switch on the cord.
